To have a domain name, you must purchase it from a company that sells them. If you come up with a domain name you like, you must first find out if somebody else owns it. For instance, you may want the name www.marysflowers.com but someone else may own that name and it isn't for sale. You then will have to come up with an alternate. Q: What is hosting?
A: Hosting is the service that provides a place for the content of your website. To clarify: you may have purchased your domain name, but you also must purchase hosting so that your website content has a place to be. Think of it this way: the domain name is the property and the hosting is the house where your website will live. If you don't have hosting, there is no place for your website to live. Hosting is generally not expensive, depending upon what your needs are.

Q: Why do I need a website?
A: As we discussed on the home page, there are many good reasons to have a website. Having said that, it is a good idea to call us and talk to us directly so that we may assess your needs to determine if having a website right now is really the best option for you. Sometimes, after talking to a potential client, we have discovered that they are not quite ready for a website. If this is the case, we will be honest with you and communicate that to you. There are other ways to get started selling online. Sometimes, having your own website is the second step because there is cost involved. If your business is not at the point where it can absorb the cost, it may be better for you to explore other options first such at etsy or ebay.

Q: If you build a website for my business can I update and modify it myself ?
A: The short answer is yes. Call us for more information about this option for your website.

Q: What if I am unhappy with the results of the website you build for me?
A: We will do our very best to resolve any issues. Our goal is your satisfaction. That's why, you don't make the final payment unless you are satisfied (this does not apply to hosting, domain fees and any other fees charged by the hosting provider).*

*We upload your website to our test domain prior to final payment so you can view it and make sure you are satisfied with it. Once you make your final payment to us, we will assume you are satisfied and will then upload the website to your domain. When the website is uploaded to your domain, the sale becomes final.
